Our Story

Just over two decades ago, our Founder/CEO Dawn Mucci found herself in a conundrum. Her son had come home with head lice and she got it too. With no options for adult head lice removal, Dawn saw an opportunity to provide a solution to a pain point she herself had experienced.

She started her company out of her vehicle, offering mobile head lice removal services. She loved saving the day and when one customer referred to her as being a “Hero” the concept of becoming a Super Hero business was born.

Now Dawn and her brand have serviced over 1 million clients. She has successfully taken the stigma of head lice away and replaced it with a feel-good super hero experience.

Her idea to incorporate educational components to the service stemmed from a desire to make customers feel like they are more than just a number. By educating kids and their parents about head lice and how to prevent it, not only provides a solution for head lice, but gives customers tools to face future outbreaks. 

Rather than ending the relationship with that client it fosters growth instead. The client is so appreciative that they got help, they apply what they learn and see that they can take measures to help prevent head lice going forward.
